If you like fresh fish and seafood, then you will be spoiled for choice.
Specialities include seafood spaghetti; mussels buzzara, calamari and
squid ink risotto! If you are not a fan of fish, then there is plenty
of meat, poultry on offer and all with a Dalmatian twist. The restaurants
are reasonably cheap. A lot of the restaurants make their own wine or
sell locally made wine (the house wine served in 0.5 litre or 1-litre
Carafes). Most restaurants also make their own "Grappa", a type
of spirit with herbs. It is usually offered complimentary before or after
a meal in a lot of the more expensive restaurants. Local beers are very
cheap and tasteful.
